01. What is SSC CGL?

 The full form of SSC is Staff Selection Commission ( कर्मचारी चयन आयोग ), This is a requirement agency. Who selects the employee for the Central Government. In the SSC, CGL is full form Combined Graduate Level.


SSC is a recruitment at the graduate level in various departments of the Central Government.

 

  This recruitment comes under SSC CGL. It is a National Level Examination, Which all graduate students participate in Exam in this country.

CGL is a graduation label job. The SSC comes under CGL, and if you are a graduate, you can participate in it.

There are many posts under this, about which we will learn further, and these posts are under Group B and C.

SSC CGL recruited for the post of Group B and C. We will know what to be the Qualification for SSC CGL.

02. Qualification

 If you talk about qualifications, you must have a Minimum Graduation degree from any stream in India.


 Because there is a graduate-level exam, so it is necessary to have your graduation


 If talked about percentage, there is no such percentage here, but there are some posts where you can see that 55 to 60% should be required.

This is not for All Posts. Most of the posts are not need any percentage criteria.

 

03. Age Limit

Age Limit Minimum – ( 18 – 27 ) or ( 21 – 30 ) There is a different age limit for various Posts. You can also see Age limit of 30 – 32 for multiple Posts. Whenever you apply for the post, You can see in the Notification.

 If you belong with a reserved category, So you get a Relaxation in Age Limit.

04. Application Fees

Almost all recruitment fees for SSC are 100 rupees.

Application Fees – 100/- for general and OBC.

No Fees – All female candidates and other categories.

05. Selection Process

 The selection process is mainly divided into four Stages.

Tier – I

Descriptive Paper

Tier – IV

CPT / SKILL Test / Document Verification

 In CGL exam Tier I and Tier II are Computer Base Exam and Tier III exam is Paper Pen mode.

 The Tier III is compulsory for everyone, But Tier IV is not compulsory is all posts. It is to be given in some post.

06. Exam Pattern

 The candidates can answer the questions in either English or Hindi mode only. Candidates have to write either Essays, Precis, Letter or Applications etc.

09. SSC CGL Salary

The salary depends on the Job Profession. The Minimum salary is 25,000/- and Maximum Salary is 2,50,000/-.


Group B –

  • Pay Level-8 (Rs 47600 to 151100)
  • Pay Level-7 (Rs 44900 to 142400)
  • Pay Level-6 (Rs 35400 to 112400)

Group C  –

  • Pay Level-5 (Rs 29200 to 92300)
  • Pay Level-4 (Rs 25500 to 81100)

10. Typing Speed

The typing speed does not require in all posts But some posts require, Student have to make 8000 key depression per hours. ie. 2000 key depression in 15 min. It’s a speed test that can be clear by typing practice.

  • It’s a Qualifying Nature.
  • Relaxation – VH candidates will allowed 20 minutes.
  • It required in Income Tax Assistant

12. Medical Test

It depends on the post you have applied for. 

Some Posts – 

The minimum chest measurement should be 76 cm without inflating and 81 cm when inflated. A minimum of 5 cm of chest inflating is mandatory.

  • Revise only from the notes that you have made while studying.
  • Do take 5 – 10 minutes break in between. 
  • Focus on strengthening your weaknesses.

  • Do not take the study plan carelessly, missing even one day will disturb the entire schedule and might not afford to miss out the revision of a single topic.
