i know that season 8 is over and all that, but for season 9 and more in the future… someone should really do something about the site. its just not right for people with true talent to be sent home because of votefortheworst. SERIOUSLY. i mean, voting for someone who sucks to get the person who has REAL talent voted off is just fU@&ed up and it needs to be stopped. i know that u dont have to ‘play by the rules’ all the time, but for something as big as American Idol, the contest is for who is the best singer and should be totally fair and taken by the public vote

he actually is quite good. saying that this year is an “idol upset” because adam didn’t win isn’t fair. if kris was a bad singer, then he wouldn’t have made it onto the show in the first place. for me, the “idol upset” was as soon as danny got voted off because neither kris nor adam are as good as he is. however, all of this talk of how kris doesn’t deserve to be this year’s american idol is terrible. imagine how kris feels knowing that everybody thinks that he shouldn’t be where he is. he worked hard that title, maybe even harder than adam did, so he deserves to be thought of as the guy who won instead of the guy who should have came in second.

American Idol is not a talent contest, it’s a popularity contest. I mean the judges put through the ones they think are the best and then it’s up to America to decide who should stay from there on out. I mean Chris Daughtry got eliminated and Taylor won?! That is upsurd!
Kris won off of popularity, not talent. Sorry Kris fans, I think he’s a nice guy and all but his style is very average and not memorable. He’s not recognizable either, at least not to me, song wise. His lack of confidence shows.
I wish the judges gave them a score out of 10 or something, and combined America’s votes, just like Dancing with the Stars. I think that is more fair so at least the talented ones get to stay. I mean how the heck did Megan Joy even make it? She was so obnoxious lol. What do you all think?

They tried to change up a little bit this year with the “save” but I don’t feel like that was enough. I think the judges should be allowed more say in who gets voted off each week….I’m not sure what they could do though…any ideas? Do you agree or disagree?
PS. I’m not just saying this because I wanted Adam to win. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a couple of years now when watching the show…because sometimes I feel like American gets it wrong and the wrong people are voted off…
American Idol: Do you think the judges should have more say in who gets eliminated each week?
I have a few suggestions? Find the best dancers(terrorists have rythm, too!), and stick them on Dancing with the Stars. In a similar vein, find the best warblers, and make them compete on American Idol. And who knows, someone might win, and become coopted in thye American way. My final suggestion is a bit more complex. Build a new attraction at DisneyWorld, and call it Gazaland. I think that’ll draw the tourists in, and get the economy going, again. And instead of messy trials, it’ll put people to work. Capitalism at work! Again, its all apples, IMHO. So, shrug off your Summertime Blues, and call your Congressman/woman. Unless, of course, you’re too young to vote!

In that season, there were also 2 other contestants whom were voted off early and never made it to the finale. Their names are Elliot Yamin, and Chris Daughtry.
According to sales, Hicks is doing the worst financially, with Elliot Yamin doing better than him, and Chris Daughtry having more than the combined album sales of the two other artists combined.
Of the three, Daughty was voted off first, then Yamin.
I have learned that the title “American Idol” means nothing. Ultimately, the uncorrupted people of America, whom buy albums and music will decide who really wins any season.
I have applied this theory into this season’s upset. I will wager Lambert does much better than Allen and Allen will just be another hick. (get the pun?)

I’ve been dating my boyfriend 3 month now. We love each other. I live in tuscaloosa, Alabama and he live Always to Austin, Texas. I haven’t seen him as a person yet. I didn’t have one picture of him but, all i know he got brown hair and he white. Don’t ask!!! I’m black lol. We been texting each other everyday but to me, i been texting him everyday and sometimes he reply back and sometimes he don’t. I was worry about him because, since we first together we been talking each other on the phone and say i love you! I miss you so much. we have Alot of good comments to each other. I don’t have minutes on my phone but, i do have monthly plan but, it was easy to text him alot because it is easy for use to get in touch. I’m not saying that i don’t trust him because, i don’t know what he been doing up there when i’m not there with him. it just that something is not right. I been text him today and see what he been up to.

Now, that’s all he can say. sometimes he say i love you baby girl and i respond back to him. he do the exactly the samething over and over again. i love him so much and i’m not sure what he been doing when i’m not around. it seen like he cheating on me b/c i’m not saying that i do not trust him because, i don’t know much about him. he don’t often write much like girls do. i don’t talk on my cell much like guys do. i don’t know what to do? should i wait until he write me first because, i keep on writting him alot. he stop repond my message and he only reply two message. he forgot to about about our month anniversay.
